Your journey starts here…
Every person on planet earth is on a journey. Your life is unlike anyone else’s and includes family, education, friends, interests, abilities, jobs, geography, and more. Your personal journey begins when you are born and goes on forever.
There is a transition that every person will experience in his or her life. That transition occurs at the time of your death. Every person has a date with death, but how and when you die is uncertain. At that time, you enter into the other side of eternity. Are you prepared for your journey?
Have you ever given serious thought to the forever side of life? Have you done any research to find out the truth for yourself? Are you experiencing the purpose for which God created you? You can actually know God and His purpose for your life.
Let’s start at the beginning. You are an awesome creation of a great God. God made you in all your uniqueness, and He created you to have a relationship with Him.
But mankind disobeyed God, and sin entered the human race. Our sin problem keeps us from this personal relationship with God. All of the religious ways that have been invented to reach God are actually not ways to Him at all. The true answer is found only in Jesus Christ who said,
I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 14:6
If you die without your sin problem being resolved, you will miss God not only in this life, but forever. Thank God that He has taken care of our sin problem and provided a way to know Him and spend forever with Him in heaven! Would you like to know how? It’s profound and simple!
The Bible says,
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Do you see it? Wow! So how can you know God, have this eternal life Jesus Christ came to give you, and live in heaven forever?
Here are two Bible verses of many that tell us that you must believe in Jesus Christ and call upon Him to be saved from the penalty of sin and to have eternal life.
Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Romans 10:13
The testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
1 John 5:11-13
May I ask you personally, “Do you have Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in your life?”
The Bible also says…
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16
There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
He (God) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
God has reconciled the world to Himself in His Son, Jesus Christ. Considering who Jesus Christ is and all that He has done, please turn to God and believe in Him!

Yes God, I know that I am a sinner and far away from You. I need Your forgiveness. Thank You, Jesus, for dying in my place and paying the penalty for my sins. I repent of my sins. Forgive me and help me to follow You with my whole heart. I trust You now and believe in You as the Lord and Savior of my life. Take control of my life. Thank You God for loving me and reconciling me back to Yourself. I will love and serve You forever.
